Site Manager and Training Assistant for Muizenberg Surf Therapy Operations

Basic Job Role:

• Assisting with weekly Surf Therapy training for W4C Community Youth Workers
• Build Surfing Capacity of W4C Community Youth Workers
• Lead a team of W4C Community Youth Workers, delivering programmes to young people in the Capricorn, Lavender Hill and Vrygrond Communities
• Lead and Log weekly meetings and debriefs
• Assist with partner trainings, visit and maintain relationships with programme partneR
• Complete weekly site reports, including some data entry
• Assist with personal development training for volunteers
• Assist with home visits

The successful candidate will:

• Have extensive surfing and coaching experience
  • ISA / SSA Qualification ideal
  • Lifesaving Qualification ideal
  • First Aid certificate ideal
• A valid driving license
• A valid police clearance certificate
• Extensive volunteering / youth care experience
  • Formal qualification would be preferential
• Languages: Afrikaans / Xhosa + English
• Excel and Word proficient
• Diploma or equivalent preferential

Hours:
Full time, Tuesday – Saturday
8,000 ZAR Per Month with room to grow, and in-house training & Personal Development offered
